I did not put many pictures up of Lydia's 1st birthday if any so here are a few.

Getting Lydia into her diaper so she can crawl into her YUMMY home made cake that mom made her.

The cake was supposed to be a Care Bear, and it didn't turn out how I planned, but I get Mommy points for trying WHOOT WHOOT!

Lydia was extremely confused she was probably wondering "what do you want me to do?" "Is this a trick?"

Lydia didn't want to crawl through her cake, but I think Kali would have had we offered.

Its Lydia's 2ND Easter! She didn't do much last Easter she was to little, but this Easter she was out for eggs and wanted no one to bother her! She has an attitude and a dirty looks to match, so watch out!

You can see that Lydia look a lot like her dad, but in this next picture they are pulling the exact same face! And they look ever more alike then usual. :) I love them!

Driving Miss Liddy

David,Lydia and I are always driving somewhere either to Daycare, Work, Grandparents houses, or just around town, we have also gone on a couple road trips together. So instead of hating it, David and I try to capture the moments and enjoy any time we get to spend with our baby girl. Here are a few pictures to illustrate our travels when we are Driving Miss Liddy!

DisneyLand 2010

hElLo FrIeNds and FaMiLy!

We went to DisneyLand in February 2010! So we left on a Tuesday night and only made it to Beaver before we both got tired and had to stop for the night. David I were both sick when we headed to California so David barely had a voice...talk about a boring car ride...just kidding babe :) The first place we visited was Auntie Carol's and Uncle Steve's house in Hesperia. We were lucky enough to get to see a few members of the Ducote side of the family but not all of them unforchunately. We had a delicious dinner! and were able to visit for a few hours before we headed to Anaheim to get rested up before disneyland the next day.

Lydia was only 14 months old but she still seemed to enjoy herself. Her favorite rides (we are guessing what her favorites were by her facial exspressions on the each ride.) Were the Poo Bear ride and Its a small world. She was smiling and dancing on both of them.

Lydia didn't know what to think about Mickey or Mini Mouse she would grab there noises and not want to let go.

David and I also enjoyed ourselfs in the land of Disney! I have not been there sense I was 13. David grew up in California and was able to go about once a year with his family. But it was our first time going as a family!

Also as a side note...I did do my hair that morning before we left but when we were getting on Splash Mountain I didn't realize I was getting into the first seat until about 2 seconds before we got on...so I was soaked! Don't worry though David didn't get wet because he was hiding behind me like a real man!

The past FEW months!

I know it has been an extremely long time sense I updated our blog...but in all fairness We are extremely busy, and basically I forgot we had a blog. :)

So now I will be playing catch up! Here are a some random pictures of things we have been doing these past few months.

Lydia got a Pedicure from her Auntie Natalie! Then she chewed of the nail polish...but while it lasted it look adorable!

Lydia LOVES bath time! She just sits in her little blue chair and tries splashing Mommy! Normally I think its funny...but I try not to laugh otherwise she keeps doing it. Whenever I am in the bath, she will bang on the door until David feels bad and lets her in. She will try pulling off her clothes, she then finds the blue chair, and basically gives me the cutest look until I let her get in with me. Then my bath ends up not be so much relaxing as entertaining.

Liddy and I went to visit David while he was working at a Wells Fargo Booth. His co-worker Penny had this dog named Romeo. Lydia loved him! And now we need a female one that is named Juliet! Everyone try to talk David into it for me OK!

HALLOWEEN!!!!
Lydia was snow white...basically the cutest thing ever! She had shoes to match that her Daddy bought her.

She was more interested in taking the shoes off and biting them then wearing them.

Lydia was playing in her bedroom minding her own business and her Dad stuck this funky but cute hat on her and she poised for the picture.

I love doing Lydia's hair in Piggy Tales but she absolutely HATES it! She screams the entire time, and by the time I am done they look horrible. If she only knew that if she would just hold still they would be done so much faster and look so much cuter!

I also have no idea what to do with the top of her hair when I do this so that why its in some sort of flip! :)

I have a theory...Lydia LOVES sweets, chocolate, ice-cream, anything really. I think there are 3 basic reason why this is. First off because when I was prego with her she got a few THOUSAND taste of it. In second I think its because she is a girl, and Three I blame some on Grandma Diana, and Auntie Kristin who love feeding her sweets! And if uncle Mitchell give her soda...he will be physically injured! Just a friendly warning. xoxox

so this is where I give her the cookie, notice the look on her face like Mommy's giving me a COOKIE!

The second look is "Is this a trick, or can I really eat it?" She looked at it for atleast 3 minutes.

When she finally decides it ok to eat....

She is pleased with the result!

So there are just a few of the things we have been up to in the past few months, Lydia changes everyday! And though it is sad to see her get so big so fast, I am also excited for never know what she is going to do next. She is the greatest gift I have ever recieved!

FaMiLy TrIP tO OREGON

This past week we drove to Oregon to vacation at Twin Lakes Resort with the Klavano side of the family. We had lots of fun! And have lots of pictures!

Lydia and I were able to meet Davids aunt Lori, his Cousin Chad, Uncle Wayne. I guess they are my aunts and uncles now too. We still have not met everyone from that side but hopefully we will soon.

Yes we stayed in a tent. We got really dirty! And ate lots of good food.

At night all of the guys and I think Diana would go down by the lake and find Crawdads. I have never seen one before but they look a lot like Crabs to me. I didn't dare try one! YUCKY!!!

So even though the drive was long, and interesting with Lydia. In the end it was well worth driving to see Oregon and visit and meet the family! Plus David and I were able to eat at Jack In the Box! YEAH!

Pearly Whites!

Today while I was at work David called and told me that Lydia was biting on his finger and he felt something sharp. He didn't want to look back into her mouth so as soon as I got home I washed my hands and felt her gums to see if there were any teeth. Sure enough I felt something poke my finger, I looked inside and there was not only one tooth, but two! They were already through the gums and started to pop up! I was immediately excited and started cheering for my baby girl! She is getting so big and in my mothers words "She will be chewing on some beef steak soon." Whatever that means. So I can't take any pictures of her teeth because its not possible with her tongue always poking out of her mouth. So when they do decide to show themselves in a picture I will post her pretty pearly whites!

Kali's 2nd Birthday Party!

Kali had her 2nd Birthday this past weekend, so we got togeather and had a party! She is so cute...But a lot of these pictures are of Lydia and us...so sorry Kali we are taking away from you Birthday but we LOVE YOU!

I had a really good three day weekend off from work! If I could work Monday-Thursday ever week I would be one LuCkY girl...but atleast I get 1 three day weekend a month. I really am grateful that I have a really good job, and I think I am good at what I do. But when I was growing up I never thought I would go to college or be a working mom, I just wanted to be a stay at home mom like my mom. I loved coming home and having my mom waiting for us kids. I know that Life doesn't always turn out how we think it will, but I think when I am away from Liddy I miss her so much, that when we are together I think I appreciate every mulment with her more! That might sound cheesy but its so true, I have such a hard time leaving her but I know that by working 40 hours a week I can make sure we have the things we need. David on the other hand likes leaving the house! He hates being inside all day, I know he misses Liddy and me but he likes being more socail and working. I am so proud of him that he is now training to be a Banker, I know he will be awsome!

Lydia loves eating her big girl food! And grandma Diana and Auntie Kristin need to not give her big girl food that has sugar in it, like chocolate!! :)

Kali is such a good helper, she likes to get Lydia's bottle and shake it then give it to her.

Grandma Diana bought this at a yard sale for Lydia to play in and she absolutely loves it! It makes car noises plus it is on wheels so she can move around the room.

So HaPpY BiThDaY Kali Bug! Hope your birthday wishes come true.

When we got back to Grandpa and Grandma Klavano's house Lydia was ready to relax.

When we got home Grandpa Brad cut the heads off of the fish, Liddy didn't like that part so much.

We went with the Klavano's and Herron's, I think the place we wend was called Silver Lake, it is in A.F. Canyon.

I caught 3 fish...with Davids help and of course Lydia's upper body strength helped bring it in, David caught 1 fish no thanks to me :)

Well I know it has been awhile sense our last blog...but we have been busy! But before I go to bed I will update you all on what a fantabulous weekend we have had. I don't have all of the pictures yet, but as I get them I will put them up.

The Herron family moved to Utah!

We are so excited that Mitchell, Kristin, and Kali moved from Arizona this past week to live in Utah! Now Kali and Liddy can stop having cousin withdrawels and see each other all the time. Now we just need Kayla and Blake to decide to move here. ;)

Easter Sunday

Our first Easter as a family was fun, but very very busy! Friday night Kayla, Blake, Kristin, Kali, and Mitch all flew in. Everyone was so surprised at out how much Lydia has grown and changed...she is pretty darn Chubby now, we haven't seen Davids sisters in such a long time it was nice to finally have them back again. We went to about three Easter dinner/lunches. The Klavano side of the family had our pictures taken on Saturday, those pictures should be coming soon! Over all it was a fun Holiday even though Lydia had no idea what was going on. It was so nice to spend time with both sides of our family, it feels like I don't get to see my side that much anymore, but when we do its deffantely worth the wait, they always make everything fun and entertaining! I hope everyone had a happy Easter! Love the Klavano Klan <3

Being PARENTS!

WOW we are parents! Its crazy but wonderful at the same time, finding out we were having Lydia was a surprise...as soon as we found out I started to cry! And David had the biggest smile on his face! I don't think we really knew what we were getting ourselves into...luckily Lydia takes after her Daddy and is pretty relaxed, and calm. She can make both of us smile no matter what type of day we have had, and makes our life so much more fun. This blog should be named after her because lets me honest I talk about her more than anything else. So I hope you enjoy our little blog stories!
